Carlotta Vivaldi

carlotta vivaldiCarlotta was born in Rome on October 18th, 1985. She is graduated in Natural Science, curriculum Marine Ecosystems, at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. She has always been passionate about nature, and the sea above all. In 2007 she achieved her PADI scuba-diving license in Ventotene and from May to June 2008 she participated in a training course organized by Delphis mdc, on the sailing boat laboratory Jean Gab, where she learned the basics of cetology and research methodologies at sea (data collection, behavioral studies, photo-identification, bioacoustics and software). From 2008 to 2009 she is a research assistant at IDP, Ischia Dolphin Project and Since 2010 she is research officer at IDP. From 2012 to 2014 is MMO (Marine Mammal Observer) during the environmental monitoring project during the Costa Concordia wreak removal at Giglio island and in 2014 she participate in the cetacean monitoring during the off-shore platforms building of Fauzia and Elettra in the Adriatic sea. Carlotta speaks Italian and English
